To apply for the Office Assistant (Peon) post in Bank of Baroda, candidates must have passed the 10th standard (SSC or Matriculation) from a recognized board as of 1 May 2025. Applicants should also be proficient in reading, writing and speaking the local language of the State or Union Territory they are applying for. The age of the candidate must be between 18 and 26 years. Age relaxations are applicable for candidates belonging to reserved categories such as SC, ST, OBC, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen and others as per government rules.
Bank of Baroda Office Assistant Recruitment Selection Process 2025
The selection for the Office Assistant (Peon) post in Bank of Baroda will be done in two steps. First, candidates have to appear for an online test which includes questions on English, General Knowledge, Basic Maths and Reasoning. The test has 100 questions and will last for 80 minutes. If a wrong answer is given, some marks will be cut. Those who pass this test will have to take a Local Language Test to show they can read, write and speak the local language of the state they applied for. Final selection will be based on the marks scored in the online test, but passing the language test is also necessary.

The salary for the Office Assistant (Peon) post starts at a basic pay of ₹19,500 and increases with regular increments as per the pay scale set under the Bank’s subordinate cadre.
