1. South Korean President Moon Jae-in On 4-Day Visit To India
ii. A financing arrangement of 10 billion dollars has been set by the Korean side for infrastructure development in India. Major items of India’s exports to Korea are mineral fuels/oil distillates, cereals, iron and steel.

11. Dipa Karmakar Clinches Gold Medal at Gymnastics World Cup

12. India’s Dalabehera bags bronze in Junior World Weightlifting
i. Indian lifter Jhilli Dalabehera has bagged the bronze medal in the 2018 IWF Junior World Weightlifting Championships at Tashkent. She lifted 167 kg in the 48 kg category to finish third on the podium.
ii. According to Indian Weightlifting Federation Secretary General Sahdev Yadav, Jhilli is the second woman lifter after Saikhom Mirabai Chanu in 2013 to win a medal in the Junior World Championships.
