SBI PO Mains, SBI Clerk Mains, IBPS RRB PO Mains and many other exams have concluded recently. Many of you must have appeared and have missed it in the Mains exams of various exams. Also, IBPS RRB Clerk Mains and NIACL Assistant Mains are lined up in the upcoming days.  You might find it tough to crack the General Awareness and Current Affairs section in the exams, which ultimately is the game changer of the results. 

Now,

 Where do we make mistake while preparing for the Current Affairs section? 
Where do we lag in our  preparations with this individual section?

Last year trends of various Banking exams suggest that in most of the Exams the Current Affairs were mostly asked from the recent 3-4 Months Current Affairs and Updates. Students started to prepare for the recent 3-4 Months current Affairs for further Exams. Now, this year, be it the case of BOB PGDBF, IBPS RRB PO Mains or any other Exam, the current affairs were mostly asked from the previous 6 Months and as a result student find the section tough and are not able to score well in the Exams.re

As IBPS Clerk Mains and NIACL Assistant Mains are lined up in the coming days, you need to prepare current Affairs of at least 6 Months to ace in following exams. 

In all sorts of Banking exams, it is clearly mentioned in the syllabus that the Current Affairs of last 6 Months atleast should be prepared for the exams. Hence, there is no change in the syllabus or pattern. The questions may be asked from any 3-4 months of the last 6 Months. So, if you are targeting any Banking exams, make sure that you master all the current Affairs of the last 6 Months At least. This way you will be more confident and perform well in this section.
Also, Current Affairs must be a daily activity. You cannot master Current Affairs in one or two days. Make it a habit to read Current Affairs daily and revise the previous ones weekly. If you are targeting IBPS PO and Clerk this year, then prepare Current Affairs of last 6 Months At least. Leave no stone unturned  in your preparations and get you names in the selected list.
