Government of India Announces Kailash Mansarovar Yatra 2026
- Kailash Mansarovar Yatra 2026 is scheduled from June to August 2026, organised by the Ministry of External Affairs in coordination with China.
- It offers pilgrims a journey to the sacred Mount Kailash and Lake Mansarovar via two routes: Lipulekh Pass (Uttarakhand) for a more challenging trek and Nathu La Pass (Sikkim) for a comparatively easier, vehicle-assisted route.
- A total of 20 batches (about 1,000 pilgrims) will participate, with 10 batches per route. Selection is fully digital through a computer-based random process on kmy.gov.in, ensuring transparency and fairness.
