About Namo Drone Didi Yojana:

The Namo Drone Didi Yojana is a Central Sector Scheme aimed at empowering women-led Self-Help Groups under the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana – National Rural Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NRLM).
The scheme provides drones to SHGs to offer rental services to farmers, mainly for spraying fertilizers and pesticides.
It promotes the use of modern technology in agriculture while generating income opportunities for women.
The government provides 80% financial assistance for the drone package, while the remaining 20% can be financed through loans under the Agriculture Infrastructure Fund (AIF) with 3% interest subvention.
Selected SHG members undergo a 15-day training programme, which includes drone pilot training and agricultural application training.
The scheme is implemented through coordination among the Department of Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare, Department of Rural Development, Department of Fertilizers, and lead fertilizer companies.

Export Markets and Product Mix

India exports over 350 varieties of seafood products to nearly 130 countries.
The United States is the largest market, accounting for 36.42% of export value in 2024–25.
Other major destinations include China, the European Union, Southeast Asia, Japan, and the Middle East.
The export basket is dominated by frozen shrimp, followed by frozen fish, squid, dried items, cuttlefish, surimi-based products, and live/chilled seafood.
The share of value-added products has increased from 2.5% to 11%, reaching about USD 742 million in export value.
