☛ When will be the exam conducted?
The Tentative dates for Preliminary Exam (Phase I) is 30th July & 31st July 2019.
The Main Examination (Phase-II) dates will be announced by EPFO soon.
☛ How many vacancies are there?
The number of vacancies are 280.
☛ Is there any provision for EWS?
Yes! Separate vacancies are mentioned for EWS Quota. Please refer EPFO Assistant 2019 official notification for details.
☛ When will the registration start?
Registration will begin from 30th May 2019.
☛ What is the last date to apply for this post?
The last date to apply for this post is 25th June 2019.
☛ What is the selection procedure of EPFO Assistant 2019?
The selection for EPFO Assistant will be done through a two-tiered process:
Phase I – Preliminary Examination (Objective)
Phase II – Main Examination (Objective + Descriptive)
☛ Will the exam be conducted online or offline (OMR Based)?
The Written Examination forEPFO Assistant will be conducted online (Both Prelims and Mains).
☛ What is the age criteria to apply in this common written exam?
Minimum Age: 20 years
Maximum Age: 27 years, as on 25th June 2019.
☛ What is the educational qualification required for EPFO Assistant?
A Degree from recognized University or equivalent as on 25th June 2019.
☛ What is the Application Fee?
SC/ST/PWD/ Departmental Candidates, Female Candidates & Economically Weaker Section (EWS) – Rs. 250
All other categories – Rs. 500

The marks obtained in Phase – II will be considered for final selection.
☛Is there any negative marking in EPFO Assistant Exam?
For each wrong answer, there will be a negative marking of one fourth of the mark assigned to that question.
☛ What is the Salary of EPFO Assistant?
Level- 7 of Pay Matrix (Civilian employees) under 7th Pay Commission with Entry Pay Rs. 44,900/-. In addition to Pay the selected candidate will also be eligible for DA, HRA and other allowances.
