IBPS RRB Clerk 2017 | Expected Exam Pattern |_2.1

Dear students, the Preliminary Exam of RRB PO 2017 is now over. The next exam that will be conducted in the month of September is RRB Office Assistant Preliminary Examination. The examination is scheduled to be held on 16th, 17th, 23rd and 24th of September, it’s high time to put the pedal to the metal, batten down the hatches and get yourself ready for RRB Office Assistant Preliminary Examination. Following are some important points discussing how one should prepare for RRB Clerk Examination Section analysis of RRB PO Preliminary Examination.

If we talk about the level of the examination, it may lie somewhere between easy to moderate as per the level and the questions asked in RRB PO Preliminary Examination.
Most of the questions asked in the reasoning section were based on puzzles. As many as 20 questions out of the total 40 questions were based on puzzles. There were a total of 4 Seating Arrangements and Puzzles having 5 questions each. Out of the total 4 puzzles, only one puzzle was of two variables that was based on months, whereas the rest three puzzles were of one variable only. The puzzles in one variable were, linear (North-South), circular, and box related. 5 questions were asked on inequalities that were easy to solve. Old pattern coding decoding was also asked that had 5 questions on it so one can expect the same old pattern in Office Assistant Preliminary Examination as well. There were 5 questions on syllogism that too were easy to solve. Rest of the 5 questions were based on miscellaneous topics like alphabetical series, number arrangements, etc. So, you can expect similar questions in RRB Office Assistant Examination also.
If we talk about the Quantitative Aptitude Section, there were a total of three DI’s out of which, one was a bit calculative. The DI’s asked were based on line graph, pie chart and tabular form. The questions based on number series, approximation and quadratic equations too were of easy to moderate level. Rest of the questions on miscellaneous topics too were easy to moderate to solve.
Just try to keep the number of attempts to the highest of your ability. Make sure that you do not compromise with the accuracy of the attempted questions in an effort to increase the number of attempts. And yes, keep working on your speed as one needs to be really fast to attempt the maximum number of questions within a limited time period. Even though the questions being asked are of easy to moderate level, some of them are calculative and time-consuming too. Prepare yourself for it and start working on it with sheer determination. Whenever you feel demotivated, dream about the sybaritic life lying ahead of your success, it will definitely motivate you and let you work hard with full allegiance and devotion.
Best of luck!!
