IBPS RRB PO Exam Pattern 2026
The IBPS RRB PO Exam Pattern 2026 consists of the Preliminary and Mains examinations. Candidates appearing for Officer Scale I have to qualify the Prelims to proceed to the Mains examination. There is a negative marking of one-fourth mark (0.25 marks) for every incorrect answer. Both examinations are conducted in online mode and have sectional timing.
IBPS RRB PO Prelims Exam Pattern
The IBPS RRB Prelims exam will be conducted in online mode. Candidates have to solve 80 questions in a total time of 45 minutes (sectional timing also). The detailed exam pattern for the prelims stage is given here.

The candidates who clear the prelims exam will be called for the mains examination. In the mains examination, there shall be 5 sections with a total of 200 marks, which is to be completed within the duration of 2 hours (sectional timing also). Candidates have to choose English or Hindi for the language section test.

IBPS RRB PO Interview
Aspirants who qualify in the RRB PO Mains exam are finally called for the Interview round by IBPS. The interview process will constitute 100 marks, and the maximum marks for qualifying for this round will be 40%, which is 35% for candidates belonging to ST/SC/OBC/PWD categories.
