The final selection of candidates for the positions of Gramin Dak Sevak, including Branch Postmaster (BPM) and Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM), conducted by India Post, depends on the system generated merit list. To prepare the merit list, the marks obtained by candidates in their 10th Standard Secondary School Examination are considered. In cases where candidates have received grades/points, these will be converted into marks using a multiplication factor of 9.5.
