Indian Overseas Bank SO Selection Process
The recruitment will follow a two-stage selection process:
Online Examination: The test will assess candidates on professional knowledge, reasoning ability, quantitative aptitude, and English language skills.
Only shortlisted candidates based on merit will be called for the next stage.
Interview: Candidates who clear the online test will be invited for a personal interview. The final merit list will be prepared based on the combined performance in the online test and interview.

The IOB SO Exam 2025 will be conducted in an online mode and will test candidates across three key areas: English Language, General Awareness with special focus on the Banking Industry, and Professional Knowledge related to the specific role applied for. IOB Specialist Officer 2025 Salary
Selected candidates will receive attractive salaries along with allowances and benefits as per the bank’s rules. In addition to basic pay, they will be entitled to Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), City Compensatory Allowance (CCA), Medical benefits, and other perks as admissible under IOB regulations.

IOB SO Probation and Bond Agreement
Selected candidates under the Indian Overseas Bank SO Recruitment 2025 will be placed on a probation period of 2 years, during which their performance and suitability for the role will be evaluated. Along with this, candidates are required to execute a Financial Service Indemnity Bond of ₹2,50,000 to serve the bank for a minimum of 3 years. Failure to complete the bond period may attract financial liability as per the rules of the bank.
