Arundhati Bhattacharya, is the Chairperson of the State Bank of India and the first woman Chairperson of State Bank of India. She was appointed in 2013. Listed as the 25th most powerful woman in the world by Forbes in 2016, she is one of the faces of the industry. Chanda Kochar is the Managing Director and CEO of ICICI Bank, and her role has been pivotal in shaping the retail banking in India. In 2016, she was ranked 40th on India Today’s ‘High and Mighty Power List 2016’ and 22nd position in the Forbes Asia’s ‘50 Power Businesswomen List 2016’.

N Valarmathi is an Indian scientist and project director of RISAT-1, India’s first indigenously-developed Radar Imaging Satellite. Tessy Thomas is an engineer and the Project Director for Agni-IV missile in Defence Research and Development Organisation. She is the first woman engineer to head a missile project in India. She is known as the ‘Missile Woman’ of India.
