The Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has released the Information Handout for the LIC (Assistant Administrative Officer) 2025 examination. LIC AAO Information Handout 2025 Out

This year LIC is conducting the AAO & AE (Assistant Engineer) exam for 841 vacancies, which will consist of objective-type multiple-choice questions divided into three sections in prelims level: Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, and English Language. The total exam duration is 60 minutes, but candidates should expect to spend approximately 120 minutes at the venue due to login and verification procedures.

The LIC AAO Information Handout PDF provides details regarding the prelims examination of AAO & AE both. Each section is separately timed, and except for the English language test, the exam will be available bilingually in English and Hindi. Candidates must choose the correct answer from five options by clicking on it. The answers submitted will be considered final unless changed within the allotted time.

LIC AAO Negative Marking and Scoring Pattern

A penalty of 0.25 marks will be deducted for every incorrect answer in the Preliminary exam, except in the English Language section where no negative marking applies. LIC will determine minimum qualifying marks for each section and overall cut-offs, which candidates must surpass to qualify.

Scores from various shifts will be normalized to account for differences in difficulty levels, ensuring fairness. The final scores will be reported up to two decimal places. It is important to note that the English Language section is only qualifying in nature, and its marks are not counted in the ranking.

LIC AAO Sample Questions and Preparation

The handout also provides sample questions to give candidates a glimpse of the exam’s question types and difficulty. These samples cover reasoning puzzles, quantitative problems, and English language comprehension, helping aspirants get accustomed to the exam format and difficulty. These are illustrative and the actual questions may be more challenging or include new types.
