Designation Renamed & Pay Scale Officially Published
- Post renamed as “Customer Service Associate” (CSA) (earlier: Clerk).
- First-time publication of detailed consolidated pay scale.
- Basic Pay: ₹24,050 – ₹64,480 with structured increments.
- Pay Structure: ₹24,050 – 1,340 (3 years) – ₹28,070 – 1,650 (3 years) – ₹33,020 – 2,000 (4 years) – ₹41,020 – 2,340 (7 years) – ₹57,400 – 4,400 (1 year) – ₹61,800 – 2,680 (1 year) – ₹64,480
Local Language Proficiency Now Mandatory
- Candidates must be proficient in the local language of the State/UT they apply for.
- Reading, writing, speaking, and understanding skills are required.
- Exempted from language test if studied the language in the 10th grade or above.
- Others must clear a Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT) after the Mains.
Revised Mains Exam Pattern
- Total Questions reduced from 190 ➝ 155
- Exam Duration reduced from 160 mins ➝ 120 mins
DigiLocker Integration
- Candidates can link DigiLocker for faster document upload.
- Supports auto-fetching of Aadhaar and academic certificates.
- Reduces manual uploads and errors.
Separate Edit Window
- A dedicated “Edit Window” will be provided after registration closes.
- Allows candidates to make changes to the application beyond the regular window.
- Edit dates will be announced on the official website.
