“Mehnat Meri, Rehmat Teri” : Nisha Nagi (RRB Clerk)

“Till the full stop doesn’t come, the sentence is not complete”: Amrendra Kumar (IBPS RRB PO)

RRB OA- PUNJAB GRAMIN BANK
I was in graduation 2nd year (2011)  when I 1st gave the banking exam, with proper coaching but with total non-seriousness and I cleared the IBPS clerk exam. I had no idea about the interview system as at that time we need to appear for individual bank interviews. So due to lack of knowledge I missed the chance.

Completed graduation in 2012 and completed MBA in 2014, got placed with a good salary package, it seemed as if all my dreams are fulfilled and I need nothing more. But after 1 month of job in private sector I resigned.

Started preparing again for banking in August 2014. I gave every exam related to banking. No one except my parents and brother knew about my preparations and I intentionally did not told anyone else because in this race there are very few who will support you from the heart and rest all are there to enjoy your failures and celebrate.
During these 3.5 years I cleared 4 exams:
Ibps clerk 2014
Ibps clerk 2015
Ibps po 2016
Rrb clerk 2016

The common thing they all have is on the day of my interview of ibps clerk 2014 and ibps po 2016 I met with an accident..so could not appear.
Ibps clerk 2015 had issues during DV.
Rrb clerk 2016 –while crossing the outside the venue a bike came out of nowhere and hit me. Again could not appear for the interview.
These 3.5 years made me so strong that even after so many failures and bad luck I still had the determination to stand up strong again and prepare for the exam. I have missed many exams by 2 or less than 2 marks but I have never thought of giving up.

I just want to add one more thing that I am a girl and I m 26+ right now and I belong to Amritsar region of Punjab. Many of my relatives were after my marriage all the time because they had no idea what I was doing and even if they knew they would have never changed their mindset. It was only my mother and father and my brother who always stood by my side and asked me to focus only on my goals and said they will handle every other issue.
It becomes difficult for us sometimes but that does not mean that it’s impossible. I wish each one of you achieves his or her dreams. Aur jo parents ki aankhon me khushi se chamak aati hai uska maza hi alag hai..
Lage raho..kar ke hi dum lena!!!
