New Pattern Reasoning Questions for SBI PO Mains Exam

You just need correct practice and hardwire your brain to quickly make decisions of what to attempt and what to leave. Practice with these new pattern reasoning question for SBI PO Mains Exam.

Directions (1-5): Each of the questions below, consist a question and three statements numbered I, II and III. You have to decide whether the data provided in the statements are sufficient to answer the question. 
Read the three statements and Give answer
(a) If the data in statement I and II together are sufficient to answer the question, while the data in statement III are not required to answer the question.
(b) If the data in statement I and III together are sufficient to answer the question, while the data in statement II are not required to answer the question.
(c) If the data in statement II and III are sufficient to answer the question, while the data in statement I are not required to answer the question.

Statements: 
I. In a certain code language ‘soaring your business’ is coded as ‘sx vc fx’ and ‘mind your language’ is coded as ‘wx qc sx’.

Directions (6-10): Read the following information carefully and answer the questions that follow.
Ten persons are sitting in two parallel rows containing five persons in each. In row 1, P, Q R, S, and T are sitting and all of them are facing south. In row 2, A, B, C, D, and E are sitting and all of them are facing north. In the given seating arrangement, each member seated in a row faces another member of the other row but not necessarily in the same order. Each of them is going to watch different movie viz. Bahubali, Alien, Half Girlfriend, Radha, Posto, Dino Planet, Lahoriye, Sarkar, Rosetta, and Smurfs but not necessarily in the same order.

There are two persons between the person who is going to watch Lahoriye and the person who is going to watch Half Girlfriend. R does not watch Lahoriye. E does not watch Sarkar.

Directions (11-15): Study the following information carefully and answer the questions given below: Following are the conditions for selecting Personnel Manager in an organisation:
The candidate must
(i) be a graduate with at least 50 percent marks.
(ii) have a postgraduate degree/diploma in Personnel Management/HR with at least 60 percent marks.
(iii) not be more than 35 years as on 1.6.2009.
(iv) have post-qualification work experience of at least five years in the Personnel/HR Division of an organisation.
(v) have secured at least 45 percent marks in the selection process.
In ‘the case of a candidate who satisfies all the conditions
EXCEPT–
(A) at (iii) above, but has post-qualification work experience of at least ten years, the case is to be referred to the Director-Personnel.
(B) at (iv) above, but has post-qualification work experience as Deputy Personnel Manager of at least three years, the case is to be referred to President-Personnel.
In each question below are given details of one candidate.
