SBI Security Officer Selection Process 2026

SBI Security Officer Exam Pattern 2026

The online written examination will consist of four objective sections carrying a total of 200 questions and 200 marks. The Professional Knowledge section carries the highest weightage and is the only section whose marks will be considered for preparing the written examination merit score.

Important points for Online Exam:

• Reasoning Ability, English Language and General Awareness are qualifying in nature.
• Marks obtained in these three sections will not be considered for preparing the merit list.
• Professional Knowledge carries 100 marks and will determine the written examination merit score.
• The minimum qualifying marks for the qualifying sections will be decided by SBI.
• There will be no negative marking for wrong answers.

Interview

Candidates who qualify in the online written examination will be shortlisted for the personal interview. The interview will carry 100 marks, and SBI will decide the qualifying marks for this stage.

Final Merit List

The final merit list will be prepared by combining the written examination and interview scores after applying the prescribed weightage. The Professional Knowledge score will carry 70% weightage, while the interview will carry 30% weightage.
