SBI CBO Notice 2025-26 has been released, an official correction/amendment notice from the State Bank of India (SBI) regarding the recruitment of Circle Based Officers (CBOs). Here’s what has been changed and revised:
1. Salary Barrier Removed: The most significant change is for candidates working in Private Sector Banks (Scheduled Commercial Banks other than PSBs/RRBs).
- Old Rule: You had to prove a minimum annual gross salary of ₹9.50 lakhs.
- New Rule: This salary requirement has been completely removed. You no longer need to meet a specific income threshold to be eligible.
2. Deadline Extended: The last date to register and apply for the post has been extended to 25 February 2026.
3. What Stays the Same?
- Experience: You still need a minimum of 2 years of experience as an officer in a Scheduled Commercial Bank or Regional Rural Bank as of December 31, 2025.
- Job Profile: Your current job role must still match the responsibilities of an SBI Scale-I Generalist Officer.
- Previous Applicants: If you have already registered, you do not need to do anything or register again.
