Keep on reading to understand the experience of Bhaskar.

My interview was at Hyderabad (A.P head office)-10 am. After reaching the venue they conducted document verification which was followed by the start of Group Discussion.

GD Topic- “Is it necessary to cap marriage ceremony expenditure?”

Each candidate spoke on the above-mentioned topic for few minutes after which the group came to a conclusion. Group Discussion can be a tensed situation for some, but with confidence and clarity of thought, one can easily score in this phase. It is important to maintain the decorum of the session and avoid being too loud. Put forth your views and opinions firmly best backed by figures or facts and also let your fellow group members voice their opinions.

Group Exercise –  Measures to reduce rural -urban divide.

Group Exercise is performed after the discussion. They gave us 7 qualities to prioritize. 20 min for this topic. In this group exercise candidates were given a set of few qualities/ attributes/ traits/ parameters which they had to prioritize according to their understanding of the topic/ situation/ thinking ability.

Personal Interview

The panel contains 3 males and 1 female.  The female interviewer was just sitting and observing me how am I presenting myself.

  • Tell me about your self?
  • What is NABARD? Why it is created?
  • What are RRBs?
  • If already RRBs were started in 1975, then what was the necessity of NABARD in 80’s?
  • Which banks are getting highest profit? Public sector or private sector why?
  • Your strength?
  • How your strengths will be helpful to bank? (I said my smile is my, they asked this question.)
  • You have such a good strength, then, why are you not smiling here?

(I smiled after that question.) He said “Really you have a good smile. Try for a close-up advt”. Then everybody in the room laughed. And said you can leave for today.
