Changes in SBI PO Prelims Exam 2018: Type of Questions |_2.1

First day of SBI PO Preliminary Examination 2018 is now over and the examination of some candidates is yet to be held on 8th of July. This time, SBI not only surprised all the banking aspirants by setting up a new trend of sectional timing but also, it was observed that the pattern of questions asked in all the shifts was not the same in the different shifts held throughout the day. The major changes seen in SBI PO Prelims Exams were observed in the number of questions and topics on which they were asked. Here is the detailed analysis of the changes observed in SBI PO Prelims Exam 2018.
Changes Observed In Numerical Ability Section:

  • Questions on Approximation were asked in three shifts but not in Shift 2.
  • Quadratic Equation were asked in second shift while it was missing in all other shifts. 
  • Questions on Simplification were asked in the last shift while it was missing in the first three shifts. 
  • Different combinations of DI were asked from pie charts, tabular and Bar Graph. Caselets were in first two shifts. 
  • Data Sufficiency questions were asked in last two shifts, while questions based on Quantity 1, Quantity 2 were asked in first two shifts.

Changes Observed In English Section:

  • Sentence Connectors were asked in first, third and fourth shifts, while they were not asked in the second shift. 
  • Sentence starters were asked in the first shift and no questions were asked in  the other three shifts. 
  • Questions on sentence completion were asked in the last shift. No questions on sentence completion were asked in other three shifts. 
  • Questions on identifying the correct sentence were asked only in the second shift.

Changes Observed In Reasoning Section:

  • Inequalities were asked only in the first shift. 
  • 1 Alphabet Question was asked in the second shift. No question on Alphabet was asked in the other shifts. 
  • Question on Direction was asked only in the first shift. 
  • Alpha Numeric missing series were asked only in the last shift.
