SBI has Released Notification for the recruitment of Specialist Officer. This year SBI recruits 475+ Specialist Cadre Officer on a regular basis. The vacancies of the specialist officer are diverse in the field of expertise in the bank. Every year SBI recruits specialist officers to robust its diversity in the field of Information technology, cybercrime so in this recruitment, there are many posts for SO like Developer, System /Server Administrator, IT Security Expert, Database Administrator, and Cloud Administrator post has been released. This is a great opportunity to work in SBI for experienced professionals who had experience in the field of IT domain.

SBI mentioned Job profile and KRA of each post on its notification to compete with the changing technology and frauds in the bank. This year SBI recruits Junior Management Grade Scale- I (JMGS I), Middle Management Grade Scale-II (MMGS II), Middle Management Grade Scale- III (MMGS III), Senior Management Grade Scale- IV (SMGS-IV)

Examination Pattern

SBI sets different examination procedures for different Cadre Officers. As per the official notification, the examination pattern for posts Sl No. 1 to 24 will be on the basis of Online Written Test and Interview. Notification contains a serial number of different posts you can apply accordingly to the serial number of the respective post. The online written test will be scheduled to be held on 20.10.2019.

General Aptitude section is qualifying nature. Candidates have to score more than cutoff marks which are decided by SBI. General Aptitude section is common for the post serial number (1 to 24). Marks of General Aptitude is only qualifying and marks will not be added at the time of merit for final selection. only Marks of Professional knowledge is counted at the time of merit. Professional Knowledge section comprises General IT knowledge and Role-based Knowledge. A role-based knowledge test has a huge weight is according to the Job you applied.

Interview Process

For Interview an adequate number of candidates are called based on the performance of the online written test. The interview is of 25 Marks. The qualifying marks in the Interview will

be as decided by the Bank.

Merit 

After written and interview the final list is prepared. The final merit list will be arrived at after aggregating the marks of Professional Knowledge test (out of 150 marks) and interview (out of 25 marks). Weightage of the score will be as under.

JMGS-I, MMGS-II & MMGS-III (Post Sr No. 1 to 24) ● Written Test: 70%

● Interview: 30%

Examination process/ Selection process

The selection of candidates from Post Sl No. 25 to 35 will be based on Shortlisting and Interview.

for shortlisting, qualification and experience play a vital role but it is up to the bank which sets the parameter of shortlisting.

for the interview, the interview will carry 100 marks. The qualifying marks in the interview will be decided by the Bank.
