Hello aspirants,

           Success Story of Anurag Nagarkar

I entered into banking exam in June 2018 officially before that I had given 2 exams of bank one is SBI PO and of federal bank but jot in continuity. Initially I was studying for MPSC which I started in 2017,but I failed to crack any of exams. Then my old friend came at my house in June 2018 and he advised and motivated me to give Bank exams because my gk and maths both are strong and English is also above average and also I studied few basics of reasoning and maths during federal bank exam also which I studied seriously. So in short it was positive situation for me to enter in banking. So I entered in banking in full fledged manner in June 2018.Then he joined my library and we started studying together. Within the span of 2 months, I got hand in reasoning. We also regularly used to read daily current affairs and give daily quizzes on bankersadda app of reasoning, quant and GA.So,I didn’t join any banking classes at that time as Bankersadda app was the only and best coaching for me at that time.

I cracked my first prelims exam in 2019 which is of ibps clerk but was unable to crack it’s mains. I cracked total 6 prelims in 2019 like ibps clerk, fci, sbi clerk, esic, ibps po and lic assistant but failed to crack any of its mains. Then I realized that my study was not enough to get a job. In the wake of these failure, I also failed to crack Ibps clerk 2020.Then I got advise from one of my mentor who advised me to give regularly online test series. So I decided to purchase a test series pack of Mahendra and started giving online test but then lockdown occurred and my interest to study got slow down. In these lockdown period, I also suffered from Dengue and I gave Ibps po prelims in the dengue fever on 3th of Oct 2020.On 20th oct Sbi clerk result was out and I cleared it’s prelim, but again was unable to crack its mains. Then I firmly decided to join a banking class after Diwali but again my misfortune, that class was of prelims level and at that crucial time I want to get prepared at mains level because Ibps clerk 2021 was my last attempt as my age was 27 and I belongs to general category. So then I attended class only for 1 month and in this time I didn’t get any of advantage from that class because no any student from class was of mains level, so it was also not beneficial to join those students group. Then on 3th of Jan 2021 I came to my hometown and that proved life changing decision for me. Had I been attending the class again, I would not get any advantage. So I joined library again in my hometown and with my old friend I again started to prepare for my final frontier. The group I joined with my old friend was best as all the students were of mains level. Then I studied rigorously and we made strategy. We decided to focus on Ibps Po rather than on Ibps clerk. From 10 to 1 pm,we used to study current affairs.1-2 pm lunch break and again from 2 pm to 4-30 pm we used to give online test for mains. Again from 4-30 to 6-30 we study current affairs and again from 6-30 to 8 pm we used to give resumed online test.At 8 pm I used to come to home and again after one hour, from 9pm to 11pm or onwards, I watched daily videos of Ashish Gautam. That was my daily schedule for 1 month. In these meantime, I also got corona positive but that was asymptomatic. But as rule, I quarantined for 1 week. So that one week was very difficult and stressful for me as I didn’t study properly because I was alone in room. I gave Ibps po mains on 4th of feb and was little bit confident that I can crack the exam as I was mentally satisfied with my performance. The last big shock came to me when I failed to crack Ibps clerk prelim. That was like a big heart attack to me because that was the only exam I was targeting. But god had written big success in my book and that day came when I cleared Ibps po mains exam. Then I got guidance from the sir whose library we used for study. He took daily mock interview of me for 12 days and made me perfect to crack the interview. My interview came on 11th of March, On Mahashivratri.A panel of 6 persons consisting of 5 male and 1 female took my interview in my native language Marathi and I gave answers to 8 questions out of 10.My interview completed with positive ending and I was confident about my selection. My confidence further boosted when mains exam scorecard was released in which I got 12 marks more than my usual cutoff. And finally, I got selected as PO in Bank Of India.
So that was my success story with full obstacles. These obstacles never left my hand till the end but everytime, I came out of it successfully. I never gave up at any point. I am proud for only one thing that I cracked this exam without joining any coaching class.
