Success Story of Sudarsan Working as Probationary Officer in Union Bank Of India

“Good things come to people who wait, but better things come to those who go out and get them.”

Hello Everyone,

I am Sudarsan, I had completed my Mechanical Engineering in 2016. For almost 1 year I have done self-study and preparation for the exam and I appeared in many exams like SBI Clerk and SSC exams, But due to lack of exam awareness, I could not clear those exams including SBI Clerk. Then I started working as an apprentice in a power plant for Rs.3500 incentive on a contract basis for 1 year. It was not sufficient to run my life and I could not apply for exams also. After one year again I became jobless and I started preparing for govt exams once again but sincerely.

Practice with,

I appeared for the IDBI Clerk exam in which my Marks was very less compared to the cut-off. But I came to know that my Marks in English section was good and I’ve to concentrate on Quant and reasoning only. In the same year 2018, I appeared for the south Indian bank exam in which I could not clear but I’ve made use of the General Knowledge section in that exam. With these experiences, I came to know my strengths are GK and English sections.

Then I appeared for SBI Clerk Mains the same year. The exam was very tough but I was confident that I would clear it for sure. But again I could not make up that level, I missed it by 7 Marks. I knew what mistake I had done, I didn’t practice enough mock tests for the main exam due to which I could not know pattern and level of the questions and I scored good enough in GK and English.

The same year I failed in RRB PO because there is no English section and the next week I had RRB clerk Prelims. I used to practice 3 mocks daily and within one week I had practiced around 20 mocks due to which I increased my speed and Accuracy and I cleared the prelims. I performed well in the mains also and I was waiting for the exam results. Meanwhile, my parents urged me to do some work. But I kept studying for exams.

Then I appeared for IBPS PO Mains for which I did my 100% preparation despite my typhoid fever. I practiced nearly 10 mocks and I did throughout review of all the sections. Finally, I cleared the Mains exam and appeared for the Interview for which I studied Adda247 materials and Books which helped me to perform well. Meanwhile, I got cleared my RRB Clerk exam. And I appeared for IBPS CLERK Mains too.

On April 1, 2019, I got UNION BANK OF INDIA in IBPS PO and CANARA BANK in IBPS CLERK. All I want to say is study Banking awareness and current affairs daily and try to practice all the quizzes of Adda247 by which you will know the pattern and level of the exam and you can maintain your attempts and accuracy.

Thank you and all the best!
