SCI Court Master Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the post of Court Master (Shorthand) in the Supreme Court of India, candidates must fulfill the following conditions:
- Age Limit: Must be between 30 to 45 years as of 1st July 2025. Age relaxation will be provided to SC/ST, OBC, PwD, Ex-Servicemen and existing departmental employees as per Government of India rules.
- Educational Qualification: Must have a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
- Shorthand & Typing Skills: Must be able to take English shorthand at 120 words per minute and type at 40 words per minute. Basic computer knowledge is also necessary.
- Experience: Should be have at least 5 years of regular experience as Private Secretary, PA, Senior PA, or Senior Stenographer in Government, PSU, or Statutory organizations.

1. Shorthand (English) Test
- Speed: 120 words per minute for 7 minutes.
- Transcription Time: 45 minutes.
