Important Topics for IBPS PO 2019

If you are serious aspirant, you must be aware of the exam pattern of IBPS PO Exam. The IBPS PO prelims examination consist of three-sections: Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning Ability and English. The Quantitative aptitude and reasoning sections carries 35 question each while the english section carries 30 questions. Quantitative Aptitude

This section contains 35 question, each carrying 1 marks. The Quants section demands practice and hard work. Here are some topics that you can focus on to score well in this section:

  • Data Interpretation: 7-10 Question are asked from this topic. Mostly they are moderate in level of difficulty.
  • Simplication & Approximation: 4-5 Question are asked that can be moderate to difficult in nature.
  • Quadratic Equation/ Quantity based question: Almost 6 questions are asked that are easy to moderate in nature.
  • Number Series: They level of difficulty is genrally high and 4-5 question are asked.
  • Miscellaneous. The rest of the question is asked from minor topics like profit & loss, ages, percentage, partnership, time and work, etc that are easy in nature. They are the most sort after topics and can easily help you in fetching marks.

Reasoning Ability

This section is quite tricky and have 35 question carrying 35 marks. The reasoning section can be aced with smart work. Here are some important topics that can sail you through the examination:

  • Coding-Decoding: Sentence based coding-decoding are a must in IBPS PO exams.
