IBPS PO Interview Call Letter 2019 has been released. IBPS PO Interview is the last stage of IBPS PO 2019 recruitment. According to the official news released by IBPS, Interviews will end on 6th February 2020.

IBPS PO Mains (30.11.2019)
IBPS PO Mains exam is over now. The exam was conducted in one shift only as the duration of the IBPS PO Mains exam was of 3:30 hours including descriptive exam. The level of the exam was Moderate to difficult due to increasing level of the competition. There were a total of 155 questions for a total account of 200 marks. IBPS PO Mains consist of four sections namely, Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, English language and General Awareness.
After the objective test of 200 marks, descriptive test was conducted for 30 minutes. Where students were required to write a letter and essay in the given word limit. Students needs to qualify in both the part to be finally eligible for the IBPS PO interview round. Marks obtained in both objective and descriptive will be considered for final merit list.

IBPS PO Eligibility Criteria
Candidates aspiring to apply for IBPS PO should ensure that they fulfill eligibility criteria issued by IBPS. Ignoring the eligibility criteria of the official guideline issued by the authority can result in lapse of application and candidate will not be able to appear for the PO Exam in this case. - Nationality/ Citizenship : Before applying for the examination, candidate must be either:
- A Citizen of India
- A Subject of Nepal
- A Subject of Bhutan
- Tibetan refugee who came to India before January 1962.
- Person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East Africa.
Note : Candidate falling in the category of (ii), (iii), (iv) and (v) should have a certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.
- Educational Qualification: A candidate should have graduation degree in any discipline from a University recognized by the Government of India. While a candidate register online for IBPS PO, he/she must have a valid Mark-Sheet / Certificate which indicates marks as well as day of registration in the graduation.
- Age Criteria : There is a provision of age relaxation according to the category in IBPS PO.

IBPS PO Job Responsibilities and Roles
The probation period of a Probationary Officers (PO) is 2 years. The work allotted to them during this period includes drafting cheques, documents to pass loan, etc. Once the probation period is completed, PO will be assigned the position of assistant manager in the respective banks so that they can implement their knowledge and ideas. In later phases, they are designated the work of public relation officer in which they handle customer complaints and solve issues related to accounts discrepancies, undue charges and other bank related services.
IBPS PO Selection Procedure 2019
IBPS PO is generally a three-tier exam process. It consists of three stages like:
- Preliminary Exam
- Mains Exam
The prelims exam is merely a qualification stage whose marks are not included in the overall merit list. Candidates are selected for mains stage on the basis of cut-off marks laid down by the institution. To be posted as a PO in the bank, candidate has to clear all the stages. However, the final selection will be based on the merit list declared by the IBPS which will include the marks of mains as well as interview.

IBPS PO Salary
As per the official notification of IBPS PO, the pay scale is 23,700 – 980/7 – 30560 – 1145/2 – 32850 – 1310/7 – 42020. It also includes DA, TA, HRA, CCA, Medical Aid, Leave Fare Concession, etc. So, we can conclude that the PO salary in hand is around 40,000 to 45,000 INR.

IBPS PO Exam Pattern 2019
This 3 stage examination consists of preliminary, mains and interview process. The exam pattern of 2019 IBPS PO is the same as last year’s pattern
Stage – 1 : IBPS PO Preliminary Examination 2019
Prelims examination is objective in nature and the medium of paper is generally English. The medium for quantitative aptitude and reasoning is both hindi and English.

Candidates have to qualify in each of the three tests separately by securing minimum cut-off marks determined by IBPS.
Stage 2 : IBPS PO Mains Examination 2019
IBPS PO Main Examination is both objective and descriptive in nature and is based on online mode. The objective test is of 3 hours consist of 200 marks whereas the descriptive test is of 30 minutes of 25 marks.

The descriptive test is a test of English which contains Letter Writing and Essay with 25 marks and 30 minutes duration.
Note: For every wrong answer in both preliminary and mains examination, there will be a negative marking of 1/4th of the marks assigned to the particular question.
Stage 3: IBPS PO Interview
The total marks assigned to the interview stage is 100. The minimum qualifying marks are 40% for general candidates and 35% for SC/ST/OBC. The ratio of main exam and interview for final merit list will be 80:20.
Note: Only the marks of mains and interview is calculated for the overall merit list. Prelims marks are just qualifying in nature.
