The Uttar Pradesh Cooperative Institutional Service Board (UPCISB) has officially postponed the Combined Cooperative Banking and Technical Service Examination (Special Recruitment) 2026. The announcement was made through an official notice issued on 15 July 2026, informing candidates that the online examinations scheduled for 20 July, 21 July, and 22 July 2026 have been deferred until further notice.

According to the official notice, the examination has been postponed due to unavoidable circumstances. While the Board has not disclosed the specific reason behind the decision, it has assured candidates that the revised examination dates will be announced shortly on its official website. Background of the Recruitment

The recruitment process is being conducted under Advertisement No. A-1/S.R./2026, which was released on 24 March 2026. The notification invited applications for multiple posts in Uttar Pradesh’s cooperative banking sector, including Manager, Junior Manager, Assistant/Cashier (Banking Assistant/Clerical Staff), Assistant/Typist, and Assistant Engineer (Civil). The application process was held from 25 March to 15 April 2026, and the recruitment drive aims to fill 116 vacancies. A total of 14,883 applications were received for these posts.

Earlier, the Board had released the examination schedule through a notice dated 30 June 2026, under which the online examinations were to be conducted across three days 20, 21, and 22 July 2026. However, with the latest notification, the entire examination schedule has been put on hold until a fresh timetable is announced.
