Why Such a Massive Turnout for RRB Grade D?
There are several reasons behind this massive application count. First, RRB Group D posts are open to candidates who have passed Class 10 or hold an ITI certificate, making it accessible to a broad pool of candidates. Second, the perks of working in Indian Railways, like job security, pension benefits, housing allowances, and medical facilities, make these jobs highly attractive. For many, a railway job means stability and a chance at a better future. With rising unemployment and limited government job notifications, the RRB Group D notification drew a historic level of interest.
RRB Group D Selection Process
RRB will conduct a Computer-Based Test (CBT) to shortlist candidates. This will be followed by a Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and a document verification and medical examination. Each stage is crucial, and candidates must meet both performance and physical fitness standards to qualify.
