1. Mandatory Documents to Carry

a) NIACL AO Mains Call Letter

  • The admit card must be carried in a hard copy (printout).
  • Ensure that your photograph is affixed on the call letter in the designated space.
  • The call letter, along with a photocopy of the photo identity proof, must be duly stapled together and submitted to the invigilator at the end of the examination.
  • Candidates should write their Registration Number and Roll Number on the photocopy of the ID proof.

b) Valid Photo Identity Proof (Original + Photocopy)

Candidates must bring a currently valid photo identity proof in both original and photocopy formats. Acceptable ID proofs include:

  • PAN Card
  • Passport
  • Driving License
  • Voter’s ID Card with photograph
  • Bank Passbook with a photograph
  • Aadhaar Card or e-Aadhaar (with photograph)
  • Employee ID or Bar Council ID with photograph
  • Photo ID issued by a Gazetted Officer or People’s Representative on official letterhead
  • Valid Identity Card issued by a recognized College/University

Note:

  • Ration Card and Learner’s Driving License are not accepted as valid ID proof.
  • The name on the call letter must exactly match the name on the ID proof. In case of discrepancies, candidates will not be allowed to appear for the exam.
  • Female candidates who have changed their name post-marriage must carry relevant documents like a Gazette notification, marriage certificate, or affidavit to prove the name change.

Additional Instructions Regarding Call Letters

  • Candidates should bring both Phase I (Preliminary) and Phase II (Mains) call letters.
  • The call letters of both stages, along with the photocopy of the ID proof (duly authenticated and stapled together), must be submitted at the end of the exam.
  • The Preliminary Call Letter must be authenticated/stamped by the invigilator during the preliminary exam and brought again for the mains.
  • Candidates must sign and put their left thumb impression on the mains call letter and attendance sheet in the presence of the invigilator only.
  • Those reporting without the required call letters or ID proofs will not be permitted to sit for the examination.
