The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released the much-awaited RBI Assistant Notification 2026, inviting applications for 650 vacancies across its various regional offices nationwide. The notification, published on the Bank’s official website www.rbi.org.in, opens the application window from 16 February 2026, to 8 March 2026.

The RBI Assistant Selection Process will include a Preliminary Examination and a Main Examination. Candidates applying for the post must ensure that all information provided in the online application is accurate, since any discrepancy may lead to cancellation of candidature even after joining.

Reserve Bank of India Assistant 2026 Syllabus
The RBI Assistant 2026 syllabus includes five main subjects for the Prelims and Mains exams. These subjects are English Language, Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness, and Computer Knowledge. The exam tests your reading skills, logical thinking, maths basics, current affairs knowledge, and basic computer understanding. The Mains exam level is slightly tougher than the Prelims. Candidates should prepare all sections properly to score well and qualify for the next stage.
