BOI Officer Eligibility Criteria 2020

Nationality / Citizenship:
A candidate must be either –
(i) a Citizen of India or
(ii) a subject of Nepal or
(iii) a subject of Bhutan or
(iv) a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
(v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) & (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.
Age, Minimum Qualification and required work experience is as follows:-

Age:-

Min. : 25 years
Max. : 40 years
The candidate must have been born not earlier than 02.11.1980 and not later than 01.11.1995
(both days inclusive)

Minimum Educational Qualification:-

Graduate from Recognized University or equivalent.
A certification in computer course for minimum three months OR Information Technology or
related paper as one of the subjects at graduation level or afterwards, is a must.

Work Experience:-

(i) The candidate should be an Officer with a minimum of five years of Commissioned
Service in the Army/Navy/Air Force
OR
(ii) The candidate should be a police officer not below the rank of Deputy Superintendent of
Police with minimum 5 years of Service.
OR
(ii) The candidate should be of the rank equivalent to Assistant Commandant with
minimum five years’ service in Paramilitary Forces.

BOI Officer Recruitment 2020: Selection Procedure

If conducted selection will be done by way of Personal Interview and/or Group Discussion.

Note: Selection will be done on the basis of Personal Interview only. Maximum marks for interview will be 100.Minimum qualifying marks in interview are 50% for General/EWS Category and 45% for SC/ST/OBC category candidate.

The pay scale of Middle Management Grade Scale –II is 31705-1145/1- 32850-1310/10 – 45950. Other Incentives like HRA, DA, Lease Allowance, etc will also be provided to the selected candidates.
