The admit cards will be available from 28th June 2025, and candidates must download them on time from the official portal. This typing/steno test is a qualifying round, and clearing it is mandatory for final selection.

The CSIR CRRI Typing Test and Stenography Skill Test 2025 is the final qualifying stage for candidates who have cleared the written examination. This round is mandatory, and only those who pass it will be considered for the final merit list. CSIR CRRI Typing Test Details for JSA & Junior Stenographer
The CSIR CRRI Typing Test and Stenography Skill Test 2025 will evaluate the typing speed and accuracy of candidates for JSA and shorthand-transcription ability for Junior Stenographers. For JSA, candidates must type at a speed of 35 words per minute in English or 30 w.p.m. in Hindi within a 10-minute time limit. For stenographers, a 10-minute dictation at 80 w.p.m. is followed by transcription. Both tests are qualifying in nature and essential to proceed in the recruitment process.
