FLIPPANT(Adjective) : क्षुद्र
Meaning: showing or having a rude attitude of not being serious esp. by trying to be amusing when most people expect you to be serious
Synonyms: rude, archness
Antonyms: respect, regard
Example:We had lost thousands of dollars, so we did not appreciate his flippant remark about “better luck next time.”

REPRIMAND(Noun) : डांटना
Meaning:to tell someone, esp. officially, that his or her behavior is wrong and not acceptable
Synonyms: admonish, censure
Antonyms: approve, commend
Example: The committee reprimanded and censured him for his uncooperative attitude.

CAJOLE(Verb) : मीठी बातों से मिला लेना
Meaning: to persuade someone to do something they might not want to
do, by pleasant talk and (sometimes false) promises
Synonyms: deceive, influence
Antonyms: repulse, dissuade
Example: He really knows how to cajole people into doing what he wants.

ADJUDICATION (noun) : न्यायिक निर्णय
Meaning: a formal judgment on a disputed matter.
Synonyms: arbitration, decision, assessment, verdict.
Antonyms: incomprehension, indecision, enigma, amnesty.
Example: Articles 5 and 6 both deal with the promptness with which an adjudication must proceed against criminal defendants.

ACQUITTAL (noun) : दोषमुक्ति
Meaning: a judgment or verdict that a person is not guilty of the crime with which they have been charged.
Synonyms: absolution, exoneration, exculpation, liberation.
Antonyms: conviction, accusation, incrimination, indictment.
Example: Now the choice is go to trial on a felony assault charge and hope for an acquittal or plead guilty to a misdemeanor.

CONDIGN (adjective) : न्यायोचित
Meaning: (of punishment or retribution) appropriate to the crime or wrongdoing; fitting and deserved.
Synonyms: earned, merited, warranted, justifiable.
Antonyms: unjust, undue, unsuitable, unfair.
Example: I may pity him, and even understand his motives, but a murderer is still deserving of condign punishment.

Contrite (Adjective)  : पछताया हुआ
Meaning: feeling or expressing remorse at the recognition that one has done wrong.
Synonym: remorseful, repentant, penitent, regretful
Antonym: unrepentant, defiant
Example:  She must be humble and contrite.

Abdicate (Verb) : त्यागना
Meaning: (of a monarch) renounce one’s throne.
Synonyms: resign, retire
Example: Because the mother chose to abdicate her role as a parent, her children have become the terrors of the neighborhood.

Copious (Adjective) : प्रचुर
Meaning: abundant in supply or quantity.
Synonym: abundant, ample, extensive
Antonym: lacking, meager, rare
Example: The storm produced a copious amount of rain.
