My name is Sohail Ahmad. I am a B Tech graduate passed out in 2014. After passing out from college I started looking for a job, any job because I wanted to earn money.
As I was from Electronics and Instrumentation engineering, there wasn’t enough job for me. After a struggle of around 8 months, in January 2015, I got a job at IBM as a technical analyst. Salary was good as IBM is a very reputed company. For the first six months, I was enjoying my earnings.
During October 2015 I realized that this is not going well. What am I doing with my life? Isn’t there anything big that I can achieve in my life?
After thinking about a lot of Ifs and buts, finally, I had made the best decision of my life. I thought let me use my current job to make it large. I decided that I will not leave the job but will start preparing for the bank job.
On a Saturday of October 2015, I roamed across various coaching institute of Laxmi Nagar. I was looking for weekend classes. Some said they only have weekdays classes. Some said that batch has already started and next batch is not going to start very soon. Thanks to my destiny I landed at the office of Career Power. The lady at the reception told me that although the batch has started but the batch is cyclic in nature and I can join in the middle. At that very moment, I took out my credit card and paid the fees and at that very moment started my class and my journey. And the rest is history.

Andhra bank PGDF 2015- cleared only the cut off for English
Nabard 2015: failed
SBI Jr Associate: Prelims cleared (67 marks) mains not cleared (115 marks)
SBI 2016: not cleared prelims (just 35 marks)
RRB clerk 2016: prelims not cleared (63 marks)
RRB PO 2016: Prelims cleared (55 marks) mains not cleared (97 marks)
Exams Appeared (cleared):
IBPS Clerk 2016 – prelims 71 marks. Mains 81/200. Allotted UCO bank in UP state
IBPS PO 2016 – Prelims 64 marks. Mains 69.75/200. Interview- 62.25/100, allotted UNITED BANK OF INDIA.
It has been a journey which required a lot of courage as I used to work mostly in night shifts and study during day time. The source of this much-required courage was Adda 247, which made me believe that yes I can.
You may find the journey very smooth while reading this but let me tell you there were times when I felt helpless and felt like crying but one thing I felt like doing and that was QUITTING BECAUSE SUCCESS HAS NO ALTERNATIVE.
