IB Security Assistant Exam Pattern 2025

IB Security Assistant Tier-I Exam Pattern 2025

The Tier-I of the IB Security Assistant 2025 exam is an objective-type test conducted online. It consists of four sections: General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, Logical/Analytical Ability, and English Language. Each section carries equal weightage, making a total of 100 marks. The duration of the exam is 1 hour. Candidates must note that there will be a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. This stage is qualifying in nature and serves as the first shortlisting round.

IB Security Assistant Tier-II

The Tier-II exam is a descriptive test designed to evaluate the candidate’s translation and comprehension skills. It comprises two parts: a translation of a passage from the local language/dialect to English and vice versa. This stage is qualifying in nature and applicable only to those who clear Tier-I. It aims to test the candidate’s command over both English and the regional language of the region they have applied for.

IB Security Assistant Tier-III

Tier-III is the final stage of the selection process and involves an interview or personality test. This stage assesses the overall suitability of the candidate for the role, including their communication skills, attitude, presence of mind, and awareness. The interview also serves to verify the documents and eligibility criteria of the shortlisted candidates. Performance in this stage plays a crucial role in the final selection.
