IBPS Clerk 2019

IBPS clerk notification 2019 has been released on 12th September 2019 by IBPS. According to official notification the IBPS Clerk prelims exam is sceduled to be held on 7th, 8th, 14th and 21st of December. There will be three section in the preliminary exam. Total of 100 questions will be asked carrying a weigtage of 100 marks. 1/4th of the marks will be deducted for every wrong answer marked. IBPS Clerk Eligibility Criteria 2019

Educational Qualifications:

A candidate must possess the minimum qualification of Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. The candidate should have passed in English as one of the subjects at SSC/ HSC/Intermediate/ Graduation level. Candidate should possess a certificate in proof of passing the qualifying examination.Proficiency in the Official Language of the State/UT (candidates should know how to read/ write and speak the Official Language of the State/UT) for which vacancies a candidate wishes to apply is preferable.

Age :

The age criteria for IBPS Clerk 2019 for general category is:

  • Minimum: 20 years
  • Maximum: 28 years

There is a relaxation of age for SC/ST/OBC/EWS.

Home State VS Other State:
If you want to work at the comfort of your home, then prefer your home state and fill bank preference accordingly as mentioned zone wise below. For other states, proficiency in the local language/official language of the respective state is mandatory.

Proficiency in Local Language:
LPT i.e Language Proficiency Test (if applicable) must NOT be taken causally as it has backfired in many cases & many candidates have failed to secure a job because of failure in LPT.

IBPS Clerk Result 2019

The IBPS Clerk 2019 examination is held in two phases: preliminary and mains. The final result is based on the merit list which is in turn based on the marks in mains examination. The result of IBPS Clerk 2019 is expected to be declared in April 2020. The marks of preliminary examination is not taken into account for merit list. So, preliminary examination is qualifying in nature. Candidates who will clear both the stages with a rank in merit list will be recuited provisionally in April 2020.
