IBPS has released the official notification of IBPS Clerk 2019. Every year IBPS conducts clerical examination for various public sector banks. IBPS Clerk examination is a two tier examination which consist of preliminary and mains examination. According to the official notification of IBPS Clerk, the preliminary examination is scheduled to be held on 7th, 8th, 14th and 21st of October 2019 whereas the mains examination is to be held on 19th january 2020. IBPS Clerk Notification 2019 released

Allahabad Bank, Canara Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, Syndicate Bank, Andhra Bank, Central Bank of India, Oriental Bank of Commerce, UCO Bank, Bank of Baroda, Corporation Bank, Punjab National Bank, Union Bank of India, Bank of India, Indian Bank Punjab & Sind Bank, United Bank of India and Bank of Maharashtra are the participating public sector organisation this year to recruit candidates for clerical post in the respective banks. IBPS Clerk 2019 Exam Dates

Candidates should take into account following factors while filling IBPS Clerk Online Application 2019:

Home State VS Other State:
If you want to work at the comfort of your home, then prefer your home state and fill bank preference accordingly as mentioned zone wise below. For other states, proficiency in the local language/official language of the respective state is mandatory.

Proficiency in Local Language:
LPT i.e Language Proficiency Test (if applicable) must NOT be taken causally as it has backfired in many cases & many candidates have failed to secure a job because of failure in LPT.

Language Proficiency means – A candidate should know how to read/write & speak the official language of the respective state/UT.

The application fee for IBPS Clerk (CRP) is to be paid through online mode only. The application fees is as given below:
Rs. 100/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
Rs. 600 /- for all others

The official notification for the post of Clerks in Public Sector Banks is released. The total number of vacancies in the previous year was 7275. This year the vacancies is about to increase to 12075. This means there is a huge scope for candidates to get a seat in banking sector. Important Note – Marks obtained by the candidates in the Main examination will be considered for shortlisting for final merit list.

There will be negative marking for every wrong answer in both Preliminary and Main Examination for which there is a penalty of ¼ or 0.25 of the marks assigned to the particular question.

IBPS Clerk 2019 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications:

A candidate must possess the minimum qualification of Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. The candidate should have passed in English as one of the subjects at SSC/ HSC/Intermediate/ Graduation level. Candidate should possess a certificate in proof of passing the qualifying examination.Proficiency in the Official Language of the State/UT (candidates should know how to read/ write and speak the Official Language of the State/UT) for which vacancies a candidate wishes to apply is preferable.

Age :

The age criteria for IBPS Clerk 2019 for general category is:

  • Minimum: 20 years
  • Maximum: 28 years

There is a relaxation of age for SC/ST/OBC/EWS.

IBPS Clerk 2019 Salary

Like other bank examination, IBPS Clerk 2019 has quantitative aptitude, reasoning and english at the preliminary level. The mains examination consist of general knowledge and computer knowledge test in addition to this quants, reasoning and english. IBPS Clerk 2019 Final Result

The IBPS Clerk 2019 examination is held in two phases: preliminary and mains. The preliminary examination is scheduled to be held on 7th, 8th, 14th and 21st of October 2019 while the mains exams is about to be held on 19th january 2020. The final result is based on the merit list which is in turn based on the marks in mains examination. The result of IBPS Clerk 2019 is expected to be declared in April 2020. The marks of preliminary examination is not taken into account for merit list. So, preliminary examination is qualifying in nature. Candidates who will clear both the stages with a rank in merit list will be recuited provisionally in April 2020.
