Eligibility Criteria of IBPS Clerk 2025

Before applying for IBPS Clerk 2025, candidates must ensure they fulfill all the eligibility requirements laid down by IBPS. Applications of candidates who do not meet these criteria will be rejected at any stage of the recruitment process.

Age Limit: The applicant must fall within the age range specified in the IBPS notification (generally 20 to 28 years). Age relaxations are available for reserved categories such as SC, ST, OBC, PwBD, and Ex-servicemen as per government norms.

Educational Qualification: A candidate should have completed a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent qualification recognized by the Government of India. Final-year students whose results are declared before the last date of application are also eligible.

Computer Literacy: Candidates must possess working knowledge of computers, as the IBPS Clerk examination is conducted online. Basic skills like using office applications, internet browsing, and typing are essential.

Nationality: Applicants must be Indian citizens. However, candidates from Nepal, Bhutan, or Tibetan refugees who came to India before 1 January 1962 with the intention of permanent settlement, and persons of Indian origin who migrated from certain countries, may also apply provided they have the required eligibility certificates issued by the Government of India.
