IBPS RRB Clerk Exam Pattern For Prelims
The salient features of the IBPS RRB Clerk Prelims Exam Pattern are:
- There will be 2 sections: Reasoning Ability and Quantitative Aptitude
- Each of the sections will comprise 40 questions for a maximum of 40 marks, counting to a total of 80.
- To solve the questions, there will be no sectional time limit and a composite time of 45 minutes will be given.
- There will be the provision of negative marking and 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
- To qualify for the preliminary stage, candidates will have to clear both sectional as well as the overall cut-off

- The total number of questions asked will be 200 for a maximum of 200 marks.
- The exam has a composite time limit of 2 hours, meaning there’s no separate time allotted for each section.
- Aspirants can choose to take the English Language or Hindi Language section.
- The pattern of negative marking will be the same as that of the prelims.
