Local Language Requirement
Local-language proficiency is an important aspect of RRB recruitment, particularly for Office Assistant and Officer Scale I posts. Candidates who had studied the relevant state language at Standard VIII or above were considered proficient, while candidates who did not meet the requirement at selection could be given a specified period after joining to acquire proficiency.
RRB Application Fee
The application fee is one of the important details candidates should verify before making payment. The fee is ₹850 for most candidates and ₹175 for SC/ST/PwBD candidates, inclusive of GST, while the Office Assistant category also includes ESM/DESM candidates in the ₹175 fee group.
