The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has opened the online application window for IBPS SO 2025 under CRP SPL-XV for 1007 vacancies. Interested and eligible candidates can apply online only through the official website, www.ibps.in, for various Specialist Officer posts. No other mode of application will be accepted. The registration process includes filling the form, uploading necessary documents, and payment of application fees. The online application and fee payment window is open from 01 July to 21 July 2025, both dates inclusive.

Steps to Apply for IBPS SO 2025 Online

Follow the detailed steps below to complete your IBPS SO 2025 application successfully through the official IBPS portal:

Step 1: Visit the Official Website

Go to the IBPS official website – www.ibps.in.

Step 2: Click on the Application Link

On the homepage, click on “CRP PO/MT” and then select “CLICK HERE TO APPLY ONLINE FOR CRP-SPECIALIST OFFICERS (CRP-SPL-XV)”.

Step 3: New Registration

Click on “CLICK HERE FOR NEW REGISTRATION” to start the process. Enter your basic details like name, email ID, and mobile number.

Step 4: Note Down Provisional Credentials

Upon successful registration, a Provisional Registration Number and Password will be displayed on the screen and sent via SMS and email. Save these details for future login.

Step 5: Fill in the Application Form

Log in with your provisional credentials and complete the detailed application form, including personal information, academic qualifications, and work experience (if any).

Step 6: Upload Scanned Documents

Upload the required documents as per the prescribed format: Passport-sized photograph, Signature, Left thumb impression, Handwritten declaration, Category/PwBD certificate (if applicable) and Live photograph (via webcam or mobile camera).

Documents Required for Upload while filling the IBPS SO form

All scanned documents must be clear, legible, and correctly placed in the application form. Improper or unclear uploads may lead to rejection of the application. Candidates are required to upload the following documents in the prescribed format:

• Photograph (20–50 KB, 200×230 pixels)
• Signature (10–20 KB, 140×60 pixels, black ink on white paper)
• Left Thumb Impression (20–50 KB, 3cm x 3cm, black or blue ink)
• Handwritten Declaration (50–100 KB, in black ink, scanned JPG format)
• Live Photograph (captured via webcam/mobile phone during application)
• Category or PwBD Certificate (PDF format, up to 500 KB, if applicable)

The declaration must be written in English, by the candidate only, and not in capital letters.

Guidelines for Photo Capture

• The live photo should be taken against a white/light-colored background.
• Look straight into the camera with proper lighting and clear visibility.
• Avoid sunglasses, caps, or distorted facial expressions.
• Candidates can either capture their photo directly using a webcam or scan a QR code to take the photo from their mobile phone.

IBPS SO Application Fees & Payment Process

Candidates must pay the applicable fees online during the registration process. The fee structure is as follows:

• ₹175 (inclusive of GST) for SC/ST/PwBD candidates
• ₹850 (inclusive of GST) for all other candidates

The application form is integrated with a secure payment gateway. After payment, an e-receipt and a filled application form with fee details will be generated. If the payment is unsuccessful, candidates can log in again and retry. Candidates can make the payment using:
