ISRO Scientist Engineer Notification 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must have a BE/BTech or equivalent degree in Electronics and Communication, Mechanical, or Computer Science Engineering with at least 65% marks or CGPA of 6.84 out of 10. Final year students of academic year 2024–25 are also eligible if they complete the degree by 31 August 2025. The upper age limit is 28 years as on 16 June 2025. Relaxation in age is applicable as per government norms for reserved categories.

ISRO Recruitment 2025 Application Fees
All candidates must initially pay ₹750 as processing fee per post. However, the final application fee payable varies as follows:
Candidates belonging to Women, SC, ST, PwBD, and Ex-servicemen categories will get a full refund of ₹750 if they appear in the written exam. All other candidates will receive a refund of ₹500 (after deducting the non-refundable application fee of ₹250) only if they appear for the written test. The fee must be paid online through BharatKosh portal using Internet Banking, UPI, or domestic Debit/Credit cards before 18 June 2025.
ISRO Scientist Engineer Exam Pattern 2025
The ISRO Scientist/Engineer exam 2025 has two main parts. The first part, Part A which includes 80 multiple-choice questions related to the engineering field. Each question carries one mark, but if candidates answer wrongly than one-third of a mark will be deducted as a penalty. Candidates will have 2 hours to finish this section. The second part, Part B, contains 15 questions which is based on aptitude and reasoning, which is of 20 marks. This part has no negative marking. Topics which are includes are logical reasoning, numerical ability and problem-solving. The whole exam has 95 questions and which is of 100 marks in total.
ISRO Scientist Engineer Selection Process 2025
The ISRO Recruitment 2025 selection process for Scientist/Engineer posts includes two main stages which is a written test and an interview. First, candidates has to appear for a written exam that checks their aptitude and arithmetic ability knowledge. Based on the written exam scores, candidates will shortlisted for the interview in a 1:5 ratio, meaning 5 candidates are called for every available post. The final selection is based on both rounds, where 50% weightage is given to the written test and 50% to the interview. So, the Candidates must perform well in both stages to get selected.
