IBPS SO is conducted in three phases: Prelims, Mains and Interview. IBPS SO Prelims Exam was conducted on 29 December 2019 and now IBPS SO Mains Exam is all set to roll. IBPS SO Mains is more of a professional knowledge test. Note: 
There is a penalty of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer in both preliminary as well as mains exam. However, there is no penalty for unattempted questions.

IBPS SO Mains Exam: Last Minute Tips

There are two different patterns for the Specialist Officer. For Rajbhasha Adhikari, the test is conducted in both objective and descriptive format with the total duration of 60 minutes. While for other Specialist Officers, there is only one professional knowledge test for a total duration of 45 minutes. Let’s have some last minute tips for IBPS SO Mains Exam:

Nature: The exam is inclined towards professional knowledge test of a candidate so its important for an aspirant to have proper knowledge of their respective fields. This exam is designed to check your understanding of your field with some tricks. So, look at building your skills rather than reading so many things.

Pattern: Before looking into your respective professional field, one should go for IBPS SO Mains Exam Pattern as it is totally different than the prelims as well as other mains examination.

Previous Year’s Paper: Go through the IBPS SO Mains Previous Year’s Paper. This will give you an insight of the type of questions that are asked in the examination. Also, solving the previous year’s question is essential in order to know your weak points and the important topics.

Numerical vs Theory: There is no need to break your head over numerical as the paper will be more on the theory and applications rather than numerical.

Make a mind-map: Do you know anything about the mind maps? These are the quick revision maps that is basically a link between certain topics and points.
