LIC Assistant Selection Process 2022 Prelims & Mains Exam

LIC Assistant Selection Process 2022: The Life Insurance Corporation recruits competent candidates through the LIC Assistant Selection Process. The selection procedure consists of three steps: the preliminary exam, the main exam, and the medical exam. Following the exam, the authorities reveal the cut-off scores for each stage. Candidates must get scores equal to or greater than the cut-off numbers in order to advance to the next round.

LIC Assistant Selection Process 2022

There are three stages in the LIC Assistant Selection Process 2022. These three stages are:

• Preliminary Exam/Phase 1
• Main Exam/Phase 2
• Medical Exam

The first stage is a qualifying one. The final results are determined by the Mains, also known as Phase 2 of the LIC Selection Procedure. Applicants for the position of LIC Assistant must be medically healthy as they will have to get a medical examination done. Candidates will be disqualified if they are not present at any of the scheduled stages. Phase 1 of the LIC Assistant Selection Process 2022 is a qualifying step, while Phase 2 determines the overall scores. The final selection and employment as a LIC Assistant are based on the candidates’ medical fitness examination.

LIC Assistant Selection Process 2022: Preliminary Exam/Phase 1

It is the first stage of the LIC assistant selection procedure. It will be conducted online. The exam consists of multiple-choice questions on three different subjects: English/ Hindi, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning. There will be total 100 questions and the time allotted for these questions will be of 60 minutes. English/ Hindi section is qualifying in nature whereas the sections that will determine the merit for the next phase of the exam are Numerical Ability and Reasoning. Candidates must pass this level to go to the next stages of the selection process.

LIC Assistant Selection Process 2022: Main Exam/Phase 2

Candidates’ results are determined by their Mains exam results for Phase 2 of the LIC Assistant Process. This contributes to the final result of the LIC Assistant Exam. This phase will also be conducted online and will consist of 5 sections: General Financial Awareness, General English, Quantitative Aptitude, Reasoning, and Computer Aptitude and Hindi. The total no. of questions will be 200, carrying one mark each. Candidates will be given 2 Hours and 30 Minutes for these 200 questions. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 for an incorrect answer.
