Ten Celebrities are attending a conference in a news channel on the occasion of IIFA awards pre workout and they are sitting in twelve seats in two parallel rows containing five people each, in such a way that there is an equal distance between adjacent persons. In Row 1: Kareena, Katrina, Kajol, Deepika, and Priyanka are seated and all of them are facing south, and in Row 2: Salman, Arjun, Ranbir, Akshay and Shahid are sitting and all of them are facing north. One seat is vacant in each row. Therefore, in the given seating arrangement each seat in a row is opposite to another seat of the other row. All of them like different singers i.e. Arijit Singh, Atif Aslam, Shreya Ghoshal, Palak, Shan, Sunidhi, Himesh, Sonu Nigam, Mohit Chauhan and Mika.
Akshay sits third to the right of Ranbir and likes Palak. Only two people sit between Arjun and Vacant seat. Arjun sits at one of the extreme ends. Ranbir does not like Arjit Singh and Sonu Nigam. Arjun does not like Shan and Shreya Ghoshal. Priyanka is not an immediate neighbour of Kajol. Katrina likes Mika. The one who likes Shreya Ghoshal faces the one who likes Sonu Nigam. Eight persons A, B,C,D,E,F,G & H are sitting in a row. Some are facing north and some are facing south. They all live on different floor of a building with ground floor being the first floor while the topmost floor being the eighth floor. Each one of them was born on different months of an year December, April, August, May, March, February, November and January but not necessarily in the same order. There is only one person sitting between the one who was born in the month of April and the one who lives on third floor. G sits third to the right of F and does not sit on any of the ends. C was born in February and B was born in April month. G is not an immediate neighbor of A. The one who was born in the month of March sits at one of the corners. Those persons who were born in the month of December and August face the same direction. E sits fifth to the right of G. A & D are sitting at the extreme ends and no one sitting at the extreme ends lives on fifth floor or sixth floor.
