Major Changes In IBPS PO 2026

The IBPS PO Notification 2026 has been released for CRP PO/MT-XVI, bringing several important changes that every banking aspirant should know before applying. Along with the commencement of the online application process from 01 July to 21 July 2026, IBPS has announced 6,715 vacancies, introduced a revised Mains exam pattern, added an application edit window, and incorporated a Personality Test before the interview. Credit History Clause No Longer Listed Separately

In the previous notification, Credit History appeared as a separate clause.

In IBPS PO 2026, it is not listed separately in the notification.

This does not necessarily mean that the requirement has been removed. Candidates should carefully read the official notification before applying.

DPDP Act Clause Added

The 2026 notification introduces a new clause regarding the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023.

This informs candidates that by applying, they consent to the collection, processing, and sharing of their personal data by IBPS for the recruitment process in accordance with the applicable data protection laws.
