What is National Housing Bank?
National Housing Bank is a wholly owned subsidiary of RBI. It was set up on 9 July 1988 under the National Housing Bank Act, 1987.

 Assistant Manager in Junior Management Grade (Scale I).
☛ How many vacancies are there?
The number of vacancies are 15.

Registration will begin from 2nd March 2019.

☛ When will be the exam conducted?
According to the official notification, the exam will be conducted on 21st April 2019.

☛ What is the selection procedure of Assistant Manager in NHB?
The selection for the post of Assistant Manager will be done through a two-tiered process:
Phase I – Online Examination (Objective).
Phase II – Interview.
☛ When will be the interview conducted?
According to the official notification, interview will be conducted in May/June 2019.
☛ Will the exam be conducted online or offline (OMR Based)?
The examination will be conducted online.
☛When will be the final result declared?
According to the official notification, final result will be declared in June/July 2019.
☛ What is the age criteria to apply in this common written exam?
Minimum Age: 21 years
Maximum Age: 28 years,
as on 01.03.2019 i.e. he/she must have been born not earlier than 02.03.1991 and not later than 01.03.1998 (both days are inclusive).

NOTE: Candidate whose final result is awaited is NOT eligible to apply.

Is there any percentage/CGPA/merit criteria in educational qualification?
Yes! Minimum 60% marks in Bachelor’s Degree or a full time Master’s Degree in any discipline with aggregate minimum of 55% marks is a prerequiste.

☛ What is the Application Fee?
 SC/ST/PwBD –  Rs. 100/- (Intimation Charges only)
Other Categories –  Rs. 600/- (Application Fee including Intimation Charges)

☛ What is the Structure of the exam?

Online examination will consist of both Objective and Descriptive Tests.  Objective Tests for 200 marks will be of 3 hours duration consisting of 4 sections. The objective test will have separate timing for each section. The details of online test structure will be as follows:

Phase II – Interview

 Interviews will be conducted at NHB head office in New Delhi ONLY. Details regarding time & date of Interview will be informed to the shortlisted candidates in the e-Call Letter.

☛ What is the salary of NHB Assistant Manager?

Starting Basic pay is Rs. 23,700/- p.m. in the scale of Rs. 23,700-980/7-30,560-1,145/2-32,850-1,310/7-42,020. The present pay scale is under revision. Current total emoluments is Rs. 44,143/- p.m. (approx.). Selected candidates will be entitled for additional increments for passing JAIIB/CAIIB exams.
