Documents To Carry At The Exam Centre

To appear for the NIC Exam 2023, candidates need to carry certain documents with them.

These include passport-sized photograph the same that attached on the application form, the NIC Admit Card 2023, and a valid original photo ID proof such as PAN Card, Passport, Aadhaar card, E-Aadhar Card, Permanent Driving Licence, Voter’s Card, Bank Passbook with a photograph, photo identity proof issued by a Gazetted Officer on official letterhead with a photograph, photo identity proof issued by a People’s Representative on official letterhead with a photograph, valid recent Identity Card issued by a recognized College/University/Employee ID, or Bar Council Identity Card with a photograph.

NIC Exam Pattern 2023

The NIC Recruitment exam for Scientist B is divided into two parts – Generic and Technical. The exam pattern includes 120 multiple choice questions (MCQs) with a total duration of 3 hours. The Technical Area will have 65% of the questions and the Generic Area will have 35% of the questions. Each question carries 1 mark and there will be a penalty of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
