Bankers Adda Success Story

Hi friends,
I am from Dindigul, Tamil Nadu. I have completed my graduation in SNS College of Technology, Coimbatore in 2015. After this, I started working in a private organization in August 2015 in Bangalore. But my long term goal is to get a government job. I started my first exam in 2015 and I started preparing on my own. Initially, it was hard to learn, but somehow I searched videos on the internet and learned. Then I came to know about Bankersadda, which helped me a lot in my preparation.

Every day I used to take all quizzes in each section and will write current affairs in a separate note so that it will be easy to recollect at the time of the exam. And friends make sure that you take minimum 2 exams in a week before you go for prelims or mains exam. It will help a lot to rectify your mistakes and concentrate on weaker sections. A day before the exam, try to be clear in all basic concepts of all subjects. Because a single concept may spoil your entire exam. I attempted SBI PO prelims in 2016. In that I didn’t go through the concept and also I didn’t practice well. In quants section, I got confused with Quadratic Equations and answered all questions wrongly. Finally, I lost my SBI PO Prelims because of this topic. So friends each and every topic is important. And after every slot, Bankersadda used to post previous slot questions. Try to solve number series question in that, you will get at least 3 questions with the same pattern in the next slot.

Exams I gave:-
in 2015
SBI PO Prelims – lost by 2 marks
IBPS Clerk Mains – cleared the cut-off but missed the merit list

in 2016:
IBPS SO – Didn’t clear
SBI PO Prelims – Didn’t clear
SBI Clerk Mains – Didn’t clear cut off
UIIC – Didn’t clear
IBPS PO Mains – Cleared
IBPS Clerk Mains – Didn’t clear
RRB Clerk Mains – Didn’t clear

in 2017:
IPPB Prelims – Didn’t clear
IBPS SO – Didn’t clear
SBI SO – Didn’t clear

Being a working professional, I will hardly study 2 to 3 hrs in a day. Whenever I lost my exams, I will feel very disappointed but the next moment I will encourage myself and start preparing for my next exam.

“Success is the ability to go from failure to failure without losing your enthusiasm”

And finally, on December 8th, 2016, IBPS PO Mains result came. I was so happy that I cleared the exam. So my next step is to prepare well for the interview. I don’t know how to prepare, where to start.. So I saw Interview program to be held in Career Power, Bangalore. I joined that course. The classes will be from 8 AM to 10 AM. It takes 1:30 hrs from my place to reach the institute. Every day after finishing the classes I have to go to my office within 12 PM. That one week was really tough for me, I was literally very weak. But somehow I managed the classes and attended mock interviews.

My Interview was on February 6th, 2017 at Indian Overseas Bank Regional Office, Chennai. I was sixth in my panel and the interview went well. For some questions, I couldn’t able to answer. And also friends even if you don’t know any answers always bear a smile on your face. Don’t get tensed at any situation. In an interview, mostly they will notice your attitude and the way your answering.

So, on 1st April 2017, the result has been declared at 11:30 AM. I was so happy after seeing my result. The days of my struggle has finally come to an end. Thanks to my parents who always supported me whenever I get disappointed. Thanks to Bankersadda without which my success wouldn’t happen. And big thanks to Aditya sir (Career Power, Bangalore), who explains each and every concept with real time examples which made me learn banking concepts very easily. And also my friends who have always encouraged me and was confident on my result than me. To all aspirants, always be confident and work hard. One day you will get paid off for your Hard work.

All the Best!!
