NTPC Executive Trainees Eligibility Criteria 2025

Before applying, candidates must carefully review the eligibility requirements set by NTPC for the Executive Trainees 2025 recruitment. The criteria include specific educational qualifications and age limits that applicants must meet in order to be considered for the selection process.

Educational Qualification

Candidate must be a Graduate with at least two years of full-time Post Graduate Degree/ Diploma/ Program in Management with specialization in Human Resource / Industrial Relations / Personnel Management
OR

Master’s in Social Work / MHROD / MBA (HR) from a recognized Indian University/Institute (approved by statutory authority). Minimum 65% marks required as per the respective university/institute norms.

Age Limit

Maximum Age: 29 years (as on the last date of online application).

The candidate must not have been born earlier than the prescribed cut-off date.

Age relaxation for reserved categories (SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen) will be applicable as per Government of India norms.

NTPC Executive Trainees Selection Process 2025

The selection process for NTPC Executive Trainees 2025 will include an All India Online Test consisting of a Subject Knowledge Test (SKT) and an Executive Aptitude Test (EAT), and candidates must qualify in both sections separately. Based on their performance in the test and the requirements of the post, shortlisted candidates will be called for Group Discussion (GD) and/or Personal Interview (PI), where they must secure the minimum qualifying marks to be considered for the final merit list.

NTPC Executive Trainees Salary 2025

Selected candidates for the post of NTPC Executive Trainees will be placed in the E1 Grade with a pay scale of Rs. 40,000 – 1,40,000/- (IDA pattern).
