IBPS Clerk 2019 

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts a common written exam (CWE) every year for the recruitment of clerical cadre in various banks all across the country. All Public Sector Banks use the written exam - IBPS Clerk 2019 Exam to recruit candidates for the number of vacancies that are released in the official notification. IBPS will be conducting Clerk exam for the ninth time this year and hence it is named as IBPS Clerk CWE IX. IBPS Clerk CWE exam will be conducted on two levels- preliminary and mains. Students qualifying both the phases will be finally selected as Clerks in various Public Sector Banks across the country.

IBPS Clerk is an entry-level job in different public sector banks (PSBs). IBPS Clerk Exam is conducted once in a year to hire candidates for the post of clerical cadre. The IBPS Clerk examination consists of two common written exams (CWE): IBPS Clerk Prelims exam and the IBPS Clerk Mains exam. In every clerical recruitment, it is very important that the candidates are well versed with the regional or local language of the state for which they are applying because IBPS might conduct a regional language proficiency test after the mains examination. After a certain time, a clerk becomes an officer through internal bank exams or experience based promotions.

IBPS Clerk 2019 Exam Dates

As per the calendar of IBPS Exams 2019, the dates for IBPS Clerk Preliminary Examination are 7th, 8th, 14th and 15th of December 2019 and the Mains Examination will be held on 25th of January 2020. Here is the table from the official website of IBPS for IBPS Clerk Exam 2019:

IBPS Clerk 2018 Final Result

The second phase of IBPS Clerk 2018 Examination was conducted on 20th January 2019 The final result of IBPS PO 2018 Examination will be released on 1st April 2019.

IBPS Clerk 2019 Apply Online

The link to apply for the online examination of IBPS Clerk 2019 will be activated on the official website of IBPS as soon as the notification is out. It is expected to start in the month of September this year.

IBPS Clerk 2019 Application Fees

The application fee is to be paid through online mode which is:
Rs. 100/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
Rs. 600 /- for all others

The total number of vacancies for the post of Clerks in Public Sector Banks of India will be released with the official notification in the month of September this year. Important Note – Marks obtained by the candidates in the Main examination will be considered for shortlisting for final merit list.

There will be negative marking for every wrong answer in both Preliminary and Main Examination for which there is a penalty of ¼ or 0.25 of the marks assigned to the particular question.

IBPS Clerk 2019 Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualifications:

A candidate must possess the minimum qualification of Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government. The candidate should have passed in English as one of the subjects at SSC/ HSC/Intermediate/ Graduation level. Candidate should possess a certificate in proof of passing the qualifying examination.

Proficiency in the Official Language of the State/UT (candidates should know how to read/ write and speak the Official Language of the State/UT) for which vacancies a candidate wishes to apply is preferable.

Age : 

Minimum: 20 years
Maximum: 28 years
