The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released the much-awaited RBI Assistant Notification 2026, inviting applications for 650 vacancies across its various regional offices nationwide. The notification, published on the Bank’s official website www.rbi.org.in, opens the application window from 16 February 2026, to 8 March 2026.

The RBI Assistant Selection Process will include a Preliminary Examination, and Main Examination. Candidates applying for the post must ensure that all information provided in the online application is accurate, since any discrepancy may lead to cancellation of candidature even after joining.

- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with minimum 50% marks (pass class for SC/ST/PwBD candidates)
- Knowledge of word processing on PC
- Proficiency in local language of the state/UT applied for (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding)

- Minimum: 20 years
- Maximum: 28 years
- Born between: February 2, 1998 and February 1, 2006 (both dates inclusive)
